We spent the rest of the day hanging out in the RV. It was sheet day and that takes a bit of time to get done. Lewis has an awesome washer/dryer on board. It is small but very efficient. It gets the job done, it just takes a bit of time.
Rob went to the local barber shop in Empire. He had the opportunity to discuss things with the locals. When he left the barber shop, he stopped at the local market and had several folks ask him what to do and where to eat in the area. He is the unofficial visiting ambassador. We have been all over this place so he could offer good ideas.
As the day progressed, Rob suggested a minor league baseball game. We both love minor league baseball so we decided to go. The Traverse City Beach Bums are the local minor league of the Frontier League. The venue was really nice and the fans were a hoot. Well behaved and appreciative of the game. The announcer was so funny. He would announce the home player batters with great enthusiasm but would announce the visiting batters with the voice of the teacher from "Ferris Bueler's Day Off" I had never heard of the Frontier League so I did a quick look at Wikipedia. Check it out:

We got back to the RV and decided to make a fire and watch a little Modern Family on the outside TV.
The night was clear, cool and just a tad breezy. The girls lay but the fire and we watched three
laugh out episodes before calling it a night.
Another great day in this thing we call life.
