SUNday, Leesylvania State Park and THE COLD

As was promised by the weather forecast, Saturday was rainy, snowy and windy.  As expected by us, we watched The Masters and stayed in and did taxes.

Today dawned clear and cold but very little wind.  Rob slept in so I took the girls out and had my coffee.

Rob rolled out a bit later and let me know that he had a cold.  Apparently he has THE COLD of the century.  Need I say more ladies?

Cold or not, we decided to go for a hike and ended up at Leesylvania State Park.  It runs along the Potomac river and has about eight miles of hiking trails.  We did a large loop with stops along the way that marked a few civil war ruins and markers of old plantation home sites.  The girls had a great time and little Annie hiked the entire two hours.  Both dogs are now sacked out.

We have returned to Lewis and will watch the final round of the Masters.  I am sure The Cold will be mentioned but this too shall pass.
