Our Pennsylvania camp is just outside Pittsburgh and we chose it for location. We wanted a place close to Oakmont Country Club. We had tickets to the US Open Golf Championship and we wanted to be close enough for an easy commute.
Our trip was good. It is always an adventure to consolidate everything and head to a new place. It is getting easier each time and we are learning. The dogs are getting pretty good about it. Annie Belle is pretty chill but Penny Lane still struggles a bit. She was not happy until she made it to my lap.
SHE IS TOO BIG BUT SHE DOES NOT KNOW IT
We arrived at Mountaintop and quickly unhooked Clark and got things in order. We took the girls for a short walk and spent the evening out by the fire pit.
NICE VIEW FROM THE CAMP
PENNY ENJOYING HER STICK
ANNIE LOVING BEING HELD
We met a very sweet but crusty retired Army guy named Jim who was old, old Army Intel. I love that about RV parks. You can meet the most interesting people and the conversations are always new. Most folks are just nice. It makes it so easy to meet people if you want but it is OK if you don't.
Not a huge day event wise but a good travel day. We arrived at out new camp having left the splitter for the hose but we had all the important stuff and we were all well and happy.
Another great day in this thing we call life.
