Trains, trails and track meets

One of the hikes that we took brought us to a walking bridge that ran perpendicular to a railroad track.  We have noticed lots of railroad tracks in this area and we could hear one coming.  I managed to just catch the engine as it ran between the supports of the bridge we were walking on.

Penny Lane had her first visit to Starbucks.  No need to worry, she just had water.  I cannot imagine Penny Lane with caffeine.

The Big South Conference Track and Field Championships were being held at Liberty University which is located in Lynchburg, VA.  We just happened to know one of the competitors so we decided to drop in and watch for a bit.  I love to watch the track and field competitors at this level.  So dedicated.

VINNY T---A BIG SPRING ALUM!

We left the track meet and headed back to Lewis.  The girls were, as always, very happy to see us.  The camp had filled up quite a bit by the time we got back.
Friday is moving day!
Another good day in this thing we call life.
