ONE OF THE FEW FLATS SPOTS ON THE TRAIL AND IT IS BOGGY.
Annie Belle knew she did not want to hike up that steep trail so she just refused to walk. I loaded her into her puppy pack and away we went.
The view from Flat Rock is beautiful. It was a bit hazy but still worth the hike.

ME DEEP IN THOUGHT.....NOT REALLY
ANNIE WITH THE "I MADE IT!" LOOK EVEN THOUGH SHE RODE THE WHOLE WAY
I TOOK AN ACROSS THE FIELD SHOT OF THIS FARM AND POSTED IT THE OTHER DAY
PENNY LANE AND ANNIE WERE FUSSING AT ME. THEY THOUGHT I WAS TOO CLOSE TO THE EDGE.
We also saw quite a few hawks but the girls would just bark and bark every time something got close. Nothing got very close.
The hike down was much less strenuous so Annie was all for it. She walked all the way back. Both dogs were good and tired by the time we got back to the car.
PRE HIKE BUTTERFLY PARTY
Wednesday night was our last night here so we had a cookout. The Hoovers came over and we grilled, sat out by the fire, and just enjoyed the evening. They are our Pennsylvania family and we are so lucky to have them in our lives.

A good time was had by all and we look forward to our next visit to Carlisle.
