We were up and moving really early. Megan had a 0645 flight and we needed to get her to Minneapolis Airport plenty early to get through security and to her gate. Everyone did what they needed to do to get out the door and we were on the road by 0500.
We arrived at the airport in good time. Rob stayed with the car and I went in with Megan. She had done online check in and she did not have a bag to check. Online check-in is the bomb and if there are no bags to check then getting to a gate is much easier. I gave her hugs and kisses and she was away on her own little adventure. She will be out and about for a couple of weeks. We will reconnect in Philadelphia for Rock n Roll Half Marathon weekend.
Rob and I headed back to Lewis and the dogs were visibly relieved to see us. The know what suitcase means and I am sure they worry when we leave with one in tow and do not take them with us.
Rob and I got ready for our morning run and the weather was near perfect. Cool, clear and dry makes for a good outing. We got back, took the girls for a good morning walk and did a few chores.
After our chores, we decided to go for a drive and check out Hazeltine Golf Club.
Rob and I have tickets for the 2016 Ryder Cup and Hazeltine is the venue.
WE GOT THESE YESTERDAY
Hazeltine Golf Club is only 12 miles from our camp. We had planned well ahead to have a camp spot in late September so that our commute to the Cup would be easier.
Since we were in the area, we decided to drive over and just get a feel for it. We love tournaments like this but we know that getting in and out of the area can be a hassle. A recon usually helps.
After our recon, we went back to the RV and made a fire. Rob had bought some fresh brats in Baraboo and we wanted to grill them over the fire. Penny Lane and Annie Belle both helped him and they got a hotdog as a reward. The brats were awesome and the girls enjoyed their shared hotdog.
With dinner over, we had our evening walk and caught a lovely sun set.
HUGE HIBISCUS
We spent the rest of our evening getting ready for Thursday.
THURSDAY IS MOVING DAY!
Another great day in this thing we call life.
