Our campsite in Virginia is beautiful. The river is close and the view is just amazing. The Osprey are nesting, the geese and ducks are "active" and the sun is shining brighter and staying around longer.
One negative aspect of the site is that the concrete pad is not level. Parking a 38ft vehicle on an uneven concrete pad can make for wobbly walking inside. The RV does have levelers but it sometimes takes a bit more than that. The other negative is that our power cord was not long enough to reach the outlet so we had to make adjustments. We basically had to park cockeyed which just made the non level site problem worse. We sat at a bit of tilt for three days.
I ordered a 50amp extension cord and we did our final adjustment today. The dogs hate it but we are happy to be level and not have ghost doors that open or shut depending on the tilt of the vehicle. The lesson here: Always have an extra length of power cord.
Life Is good
Let's see some pics of the inside of the camper! A tour perhaps???
